Why do you want more traffic?

Well, first you need to consider why you have your blog.
If you are just blogging to share photos with relatives or to fulfill a class assignment, traffic is no big deal. Move on.

Then there is the class of bloggers who spend all day long on their computer blogging and reading other blogs. They take blogging seriously. These are commonly the sites with advertisements. They depend on these advertisements to make money from their sites.

Do they actually make money?
The average blogger may break even. And that's okay because they love what they are doing.
