Tips to write a better blog; Length of Post

Let's face it.
The attention span of the average internet surfer is short. The minute we get online we all come down with ADD. Most of us will read the first sentence and if it sounds interesting we will finish the paragraph.

By the time you hit the second paragraph you are looking for key words to see if you should stick around or at minimum, pick up a few interesting items. Am I right? Are you still reading?

The third paragraph should be doggone interesting or say something new or the reader will move on. Anything between the second and last paragraph probably will not get read unless it is your mother reading it. The standard suggested length of a blog post should be between 150 and 500 words. Anything more than this had better be substantiated with actual information if you want return readers.
