New Applications from LinkedIn

LinkedIn is an online network of more than 30 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries. Members can create a profile that summarizes their professional accomplishments to help find and be found by former colleagues, clients, and partners.

Through the LinkedIn network you can:

Eight external applications debuted this week on LinkedIn.
One of LinkedIn's outside applications is a file-management system from Box.net, business presentation software from Google Inc. and travel itinerary tools from Tripit.
Amazon.com Inc. is offering a program that will let LinkedIn members share book recommendations. There are also blogging tools, including one made by Six Apart Ltd., whose board includes LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman.

The applications on LinkedIn include productivity enhancing applications from Amazon, Box.net, Google, Huddle, Six Apart, SlideShare, Tripit, and WordPress as well a Company Buzz application developed by LinkedIn.
