Cool Widgets for the 2008 Election

With two weeks to go until the election, I am spending a bit of time this week focusing on easy ways to keep track on the latest events.

Today, I will share a few cool widgets.

This is a free service. All I had to do was to sign up for the service. The widget is somewhat customizable too.

Widgetbox has several neat widgets that are especially popular with the WordPress crowd. What I liked about the election widget is that it can be customized to fit on your sidebar.












Newsgator

Newsgator is known as a popular site for news related gadgets.
Can't get enough US presidential campaign news? Consider adding The Economist's US Election Widget to your Facebook profile. Once you add it to your profile you can also add it to your blog or start page by clicking "Get This widget" in the lower left hand portion of the widget on Facebook.
