The header is one of the most imporant parts of your blog. It is the first thing that a visitor is exposed to and can be the make or break of their staying on your blog.
Blogger templates automatically include a border around the header. Adding an image is a nice effect but, sometimes the borders that are part of the template just don't look good with the image.
Here are two ways to deal with this.
The HTML method
Go to the html link from the layout tab.
Search for the #header (control + F in most browsers)
Where it says border: #px- # being a number, change that number to 0.
Preview and save if it looks okay.
Easy method- no HTML
Go to your layouts tab and click on the fonts and colors link.
Simply change the border to match the color of the header.
