There are bloggers out there who believe that they are immune from copyright laws or who may not understand them fully. Here is another example of one.
A blogger is suspected of streaming songs from the unreleased Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" on his Web site. He was arrested this week and appeared in court, where his bail was set at $10,000.
FBI agents arrested him on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws.
Federal authorities say the blogger posted nine unreleased Guns N' Roses songs on his Web site in June. The songs were later removed. Prosecutors say that the leak could result in a "significant" financial loss for the band.
While I am not sure that this blogger intended any ill harm to G & R, he is not alone out there in posting something like this. In reality, he is probably a huge supporter (or was) of the band and was excited to see them releasing something new. Like many of us poor, but supportive bloggers. You gotta wonder where he got the stuff to begin with.
The moral of the story- be original and use your own work.
